LET'S RESCUE EURYDICE!
An entirely new programme offers activities especially for children aged 5 and over: an experience of opera as a musical adventure coupled with a journey through the Theater an der Wien.
LET'S RESCUE EURYDICE!
A tour that goes up and down through the opera house and the history of opera with music connected to the myth of ORPHEUS – from Claudio Monteverdi to Christoph Willibald Gluck, from Jacques Offenbach to the present day.
The first project for children staged by Kinder an der Wien focuses on Orpheus and Eurydice. The children and their accompanying adults are led through the history of opera and the theatre by young singers. The search for Eurydice starts in the foyer and takes us to various stations in front of the stage, on it and even under it. And it all ends with a very special showdown. Various musicians are posted at the stations.
